Discussion Starters

Monday—What scares you (if anything) about what is going on in society right now? How are you tempted to respond?

Tuesday—What are “identity politics”? How do these deny the importance of the image of God?

Wednesday—What is the effect of dividing ourselves into small groups based upon gender, ethnicity, politics, class? How does this “give the devil and opportunity”?

Thursday—What does it mean to see the image of God in others? How should this affect they way you see and treat them? Why is this hard?

Friday—What does it mean to imitate Christ by living lives of sacrifice? What are some ways you can love and serve those in the church in the coming year?
