Discussion Starters

Monday—Have you ever read about the episode in 2 Kings 6:15-19 where Elisha’s servants eyes were opened? How did it change your understanding of the world around you?

Tuesday—What is the “genie delusion”? Why do people want a Savior, but not a King? How are you tempted to want to control God?

Wednesday—What do people often expect when it comes to the arrival of God’s kingdom? What does God tell us to expect?

Thursday—What does it tell you about the nature of God’s kingdom that he stopped to show mercy to Samaritan lepers? Why should this be an encouragement to you when you feel insignificant and unlovable?

Friday—If God’s kingdom can’t be seen with the eyes of the flesh, how we do recognize it? Just because it’s not visible to the world, does that mean it’s not powerful?
